Sphinxes

Sphinxes are a proud and regal race. The torso and head of a human fused with the lower body of a lion; Sphinxes are truly awe inspiring. they often have long hair and intently passionate eyes. They are surprisingly emotional, switching modes at dizzying speeds however, they are also very intelligent and think very logically.

They are often used as symbols of justice because Sphinxes seem to hold that value dear. often they act as judge jury and executioner in matters they see fit to preside over. this makes them sort of defenders and bullies at the same time.

Sphinxes come in a rang of sizes from 8 feat (head to ground)to 100 feat. they often have golden fur/hair/eyes and walk with a strut of superiority. they are skilled warriors and many find a living in guarding a place/person/thing they feel is worth of their protection.

again Sphinxes are very prideful and a sure fire way to kill yourself would be to insult them or there ideals.
